Paul has worked with the Rugby Football Union for 18 years with various age groups and for the last 10 years as a Clinical Soft Tissue Therapist/Rehabilitator with the England Senior Rugby Union Team.
Paul completed a degree in Sports Rehabilitation in 2000 and is a member of the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Athletic Trainers (BASRaT) and Sports Massage Association (Level 4). Paul is also HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
Paul has extensive experience in the treatment of shoulder, hip and lower back dysfunction and pain. Treatments are very much hands-on with the aim of reducing pain, enhancing movement and allowing return to normal function/sporting activity. Treatments may include clinical massage therapy, joint mobilisations, Gunn intramuscular dry needling and functional exercises. He has a special interest in using Pilates as part of the rehabilitation process having completed the Polestar comprehensive rehabilitation modules.
