After careful consideration, Body Balance Therapy will be re-opening its doors on the 1st June.
At Body balance Therapy, we have a Duty of Care to all our valued clients. We must and will take every measure reasonably practicable to ensure the safety, health and continued wellbeing of everyone who enters the clinic.
Based on the latest guidance from the Government and our Professional Bodies and Regulators, we have prepared a COVID-19 safety policy, to ensure that our clients and our team are protected.
Bear in mind that these measures may seem overwhelming but I will continue to maintain a friendly, caring and professional environment. Please read the safety policy below and if you have any concerns you can contact me directly.
Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter and we look forward to welcoming you back to Body Balance Therapy.
To make an appointment for when we re-open please call 07715749261. Alternatively you can book online at www.bodybalancetherapy.uk.
Kind regards
Paul Frawley.
Safety Policy in light of Covid-19
- All patients will be screened via telephone or video call, before a face to face (F2F) consultation. This will cover health related questions, explanation of the risk factors and whether F2F is deemed necessary. For those people that staff do not feel F2F is necessary, video consultations will be offered.
- Staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as guided by Public Health England and our Professional Bodies. A face mask, single use gloves and apron will be worn as a minimal requirement in the treatment room. If a staff member feels it necessary, a visor will be worn for added protection.
- There will be at least 15 mins between patient consultations, allowing staff to wash and clean all relevant surfaces and equipment, change couch roll and PPE kit.
- Clients will be required to wait outside the premises in there car (adequate parking available) until their appoint time and leave the clinic promptly after the session has finished.
- Alcohol based hand sanitisers and hand washing facilities will be available for the client to use on entry and leaving the premises.
- A temperature check will be done for each client on arrival, especially in the higher risk phases of the Pandemic. As Lockdown stages reduce, the need to do this will lessen. Temperature will be taken using a Non-Contact Infrared Forehead Thermometer.
- Payment should be contactless where possible (limit now up to £45.00). For amounts over this limit, a payment link via Izettle can be sent via text. If the PIN pad is required, it will be wiped down with alcohol gel before and after each use.
- Only one person is to attend for an appointment. A client may only be accompanied if they are a minor, have mobility issues, or if previously agreed by a staff member.
- All clients must give their consent to treatment before entering the treatment room. It will be documented in the Patient notes that the risks and precautions have been explained and agreed.
- If anyone has any concerns you must speak to a Staff member before entering the clinic.
